GIMA’s strong point lies in its ability to apply vanguard solutions and technologies in parallel and contiguous fields.
The production is carried out between four divisions: Packaging, Automation, Coffee & Beverage and System for which GIMA designs and builds personalized and complete solutions in accordance to customer’s needs.

GIMA’s production:

The Packaging division includes three different markets: multimedia, confectionery and chocolate.

Multimedia
Multimedia packaging has been developed in synergy with the different phases that have characterized the evolution of media supports on the market throughout the years.
From the CD to the DVD, up to the third generation formats, GIMA is committed to the designing and construction of complete packaging lines.

Confectionery
Two different product lines characterize Confectionery packaging.
The first covers the packaging into cardboard boxes; from the counter of the single product to the palletizing.
The second is relative to the packaging of plastic and metal containers with complete lines: from the sorting and feeding of the plastic containers and caps, to their counting and filling, up to the tray-packer and palletizing.

Chocolate
The Chocolate sector designs and supplies integrated lines for the automatic feeding and the primary wrapping and the secondary packaging of small molded or coated products.

The Automation division includes two different specializations: molding and assembly.
The Automation Division was created with the aim of offering solutions for cold assembly, - commonly known as "assembly" as well as for hot assembly, otherwise called molding automation.
The Automation Division was set up in the late Seventies and began with the production of systems for the assembly of audio cassettes.
Through time the Automation business has been implemented: at the moment the applications inherent to this production cover diversified spheres, such as the cosmetic, food, pharmaceutical and automotive.
The Molding Automation Division foresees the use of advanced systems for the assembly of plastic parts extracted from the injection molding machines.

Coffee & Beverage
Our newly born division was developed with the aim of answering the needs of the Coffee  & Beverage industry by supplying complete production and packaging lines for capsules for espresso,  filter coffee, chocolate or other soluble drinks, and filling machines for PET and plastic bottles.
